Dynaplus® glass batten screws with Anti-Corrosion coating are specially designed for effortless fixing of glass batten on window frames without pre-drilling. The bronze Anti-Corrosion coating allows these screws to be used on the outside of the frame without any worries. The coated screws offer excellent resistance to rust and belong to corrosivity class C4, the highest class. The AR coating combines three thin organic layers with an electrolytic zinc coating for optimal adhesion. With the unique self-drilling diamond-point, these screws can be processed without pre-drilling up to just three centimetres from the batten end, without wood splitting. They are ideal for fitting nose battens and other small wooden laths that are prone to splitting. The TX-15 drive ensures optimum bit-to-screw power transfer, and the small 75° flat head with sharp milling ribs results in a tight finish. In addition, just above the thread, the screw contains a special wokkel section that creates space for the screw's slightly thicker shank. This ensures a strong bond between the glazing bars and the frame, resulting in a durable connection.
