In practice, you’ll find that this model steers smoothly and requires little maintenance. This wheel was updated and improved in July 2025 and may therefore differ slightly from earlier versions. This elastic rubber fixed castor has a top plate, allowing the castor to be easily secured with four bolts. Fixed castors are best used in combination with two swivel castors or two braked swivel castors, as fixed castors are stationary and can only move in one direction. Under ‘Related products’, you will find the swivel castors that pair perfectly with this fixed castor, as they share the same dimensions. Elastic rubber wheels are made from natural rubber (70 to 75° Shore A) and have very good rolling properties on all types of paved surfaces, making them excellent for negotiating kerbs.‚ The elastic rubber wheel returns to its correct position after prolonged periods of inactivity. The wheels are highly wear-resistant and suitable for temperatures ranging from -20° to +70°C.
